With prayers for unity, strong families and community restoration, a group of leaders and residents gathered at the Logan County Courthouse Thursday, May 4, to join in celebrating the National Day of Prayer. Eric Tanner, pictured center, a Trail Life leader, brought some of his troop members to the event. “These young people represent our future,” Tanner said. Ethan Bunce with Bellefontaine Grace Church, led worship. “We’ve been out here for three years,” he said. “I love the opportunity to remind people of the Gospel—the greatest truth of all time.” Other members of the community who led the crowd in prayer included Dave Bezusko with the United Way of Logan County, Mayor Ben Stahler, Logan County Chamber President Ben Vollrath and county commissioner Joe Antram.
