Patricia L. Calim, 84, of Russells Point, OH, passed away early Wednesday morning, November 22, 2023, after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Patricia was born on February 4, 1939, in Marysville, OH, a daughter of the late Clark Beech and LaVerne Turner McKitrick. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Beula Valentine, and son-in-law, Dave Losey.
Patricia married Aman “Jim” Calim on December 19, 1987, in Russells Point, and he survives. She is also survived by her daughter, Nancy Losey of Bellefontaine, two sons, Louis Ebright of Lakeview, and Randy (Angela) Ebright of Baraboo, WI, four stepchildren, Christina Lynch, Lori (Rick) Fischo, Patrick (Steph) Calim, and Steve Calim, seven grandchildren, Karla Scott, Valerie (Bryce) Hensley, Ben (Ashley) Losey, Donald (Wendy) Ebright, Brandi (Jamie) Tilton, Dakota (Jerry) Ebright, and Adair Ebright, and several great grandchildren.
Patricia was a 1957 graduate of Marysville High School. Her working career included being a real estate and life insurance agent, and later went to work and retired from Glacier Daido in Bellefontaine. Patricia was a member of the Indian Lake Moose Lodge #1533. She showed horses for many years and performed square dancing on horseback. She loved animals, especially her cats and dogs, but her greatest joy came from being with her family.
Inurnment will be in Byhalia Cemetery at a later date.
