New Sing-A-Long tradition spreads holiday cheer

Benjamin Logan Elementary third-graders, decked out in Christmas sweaters, Santa hats and other festive attire sing “Up On the Housetop” at the Senior Citizen/Grandparent Christmas Sing-A-Long Tuesday, Dec. 19. The school’s new spirited tradition kicked off with a free pancake and sausage breakfast. About 300 guests packed the gymnasium to watch the kindergarten, first-graders, second-graders, third-graders and fourth-graders present favorite holiday tunes, directed by music teacher Tyler Young.
