New assistant fire chiefs celebrated

The Bellefontaine Fire Department hosted a swearing in ceremony Friday, Dec. 27, at the fire department for the promotion of two new assistant fire chiefs, Nate Alexander, left, and Randy McCully, right, both of whom are joined by Fire Chief Brian Wilson. New assistant chief McCully, right, will move into the role of being in charge of the fire prevention and education department. He was assisted by his wife Staci for the pinning ceremony. Their children Rylee and Hayden also attended, alongside extended family. McCully is a 1996 Riverside High School graduate who will mark nine years with the BFD in April.
