Two of a reported four vehicles — a car and a pickup truck hauling a gooseneck trailer — involved in a crash about 5:35 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, in the 800 block of East Sandusky Avenue had traffic in both lanes blocked for a time. No injuries were reported. Bellefontaine police and Bellefontaine Fire and EMS responded to the scene. Numerous slide offs were reported on State Route 540 as slick wintery road conditions made the morning commute treacherous.
