Miriam “Gale” Turner, 67, of Russells Point, passed away at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Hospice of Central Ohio. She was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on November 15, 1956, to the late Jim Butler and Dorothy (Pruitt) Horn.
On August 9, 1974, Gale married Kevin R. Turner, and he survives.
She is also survived by her son, Kevin B. Turner; grandson, Jonas Turner-Stiles, brothers, Bob Horn Jr. and Doug Horn; sister-in-law, Linda L. Turner-Davis, brother-in-law, Larry J. Turner, Aunt, Mary Avery-Pruitt; special friends, Paula Canty, Ruby Smith, and Debbie Marks; all her fantastic neighbors; her grandson’s beloved dog, Bella; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Gale was an STNA and a medical transcript. She loved helping people. Gale enjoyed being with family and friends, browsing social media, cooking, and loved a good meal. She loved to read and watch movies, especially Stephen King books and movies. Gale will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
