Michelle Marie Allen, 65, of Quincy, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 5, 2024.

Michelle was born to Benjamin and Joyce (Downer) Allen on October 18, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan. Michelle was baptized, raised, and confirmed Catholic. She attended Poway High School where she earned her GED.

Michelle was united in marriage to William Val Robbins Jr. in 1975, who preceded her in death on August 11, 2004. She was also preceded in death by Lil Baby Noel in 1983, and her mother, Joyce Anne Allen, who passed on January 26, 2014.

Aside from giving precious life to her children, she loved and enjoyed many different hobbies and interests as she lived her life. She loved to cook big meals for family gatherings, as well as, tuning in to watch her favorite food shows, which oftentimes led to a new dish to sample.

Michelle was also an avid reader of books. She loved reading her Bible and praying the Holy Rosary. She also loved reading Native American culture and history books. She was also accomplished with her many different arts and crafts, with crocheting being a very special hobby of hers. Many examples of this live on with her children and theirs to this day.

Michelle held different jobs throughout her life, but none compared to being a mother and later in life, a grandmother.

She is survived by her father, Benjamin Franklin Allen of Lucas, Iowa; sister and brother-in-law, Dawn Elizabeth (Eric Eugene) Bertrand of Lucas, Iowa; 5 children: Duane Matthew (Angela Kay) Robbins of Quincy, Ohio, Kirsten Rae (Barry Christopher) Booth of Lexington, South Carolina, Jason Dean Robbins of Sidney, Ohio, Lindsay Marie (Werner Martin) Schulze of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Robert Allen (Laura Lynn) Robbins of Carterville, Illinois; 21 grandchildren: Leon Alexander Harmon, Brittany Nicole Robbins, and Jason Matthew Robbins of Quincy, Ohio, Taylor Madison Korte, Micah David Korte, Gabriella Marie Korte, and Noah William Korte of Lexington, South Carolina, Savannah Grace Robbins of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Elijah Ray Robbins and Jeremiah William Robbins of Sidney, Ohio, Renė Lynn-Tello Robbins, Christian Val De Jesus, and Natasha Anne Schulze of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Benedict Alexander Robbins, Miriam Elizabeth Robbins, Augustine Valentin Robbins, Anastasia Felicity Robbins, Lucia Anne Catherine Robbins, Dominic Daniel Robbins, and Francis Thomas Robbins of Carterville, Illinois; and one nephew, Michael John-Paul Bertrand of Lucas, Iowa.

A Mass of Christian Burial was Saturday, May 11, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lacona. Interment followed at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary Service was Friday, May 10, at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Lacona. Condolences at https://www.pierschbacherfuneralhome.com/.
