A Lakeview man was arrested Friday, March 28, on drug-related charges following a traffic stop conducted by officers of the Washington Township Department.
Officers on patrol around 4:12 p.m. stopped a vehicle driven by Damione Miller, 45, for a left-of-center violation in the area of County Road 61 near County Road 37. Upon making contact, officers observed signs of drug use and observed what appeared to be methamphetamine on the vehicle’s seat.
Miller consented to a search of his vehicle. Officers located several pieces of methamphetamine, which field-tested positive.
Miller was taken into custody and transported to the Logan County Jail. He was charged with possession of drugs and a probation violation.
