John Gibbons, 39, of Lakeview, was charged with possession of methamphetamine (bulk), drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension during a traffic stop Wednesday, Oct. 4.
Officers of the Washington Township Police Department on patrol on U.S. Route 33 near Township Road 239 about 4:30 p.m. observed a vehicle being driven by John Gibbons, 39, of Lakeview, without a valid driver’s license.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. While speaking with Gibbons, signs of drug use were observed. He consented to a search of his vehicle and person.
During a search of his person, methamphetamine was located, and during a search of the vehicle, a bulk amount of methamphetamine and a methamphetamine pipe were located.
Gibbons was taken into custody and transported to the Logan County Jail.
