Mary Rutan Pediatrics has announced the addition of two new pediatric providers to their expansive team.
Jmal Alhaj, MD, and Michelle Katterheinrich, APRN-CNP, are excited to join the growing network of Mary Rutan Health providers.
With the addition of Dr. Alhaj and Katterheinrich, the notable team of 11 pediatric providers now has more scheduling options available for new and existing patients.

Dr. Jmal Alhaj comes to Mary Rutan Health from Brooklyn, N.Y., where he completed a pediatric residency at SUNY Downstate Health Science Center.
He recently relocated to Bellefontaine with his wife and three young children and is excited to learn more about Logan County and all it has to offer.
With a passion for general pediatrics, he is looking forward to seeing patients in Bellefontaine.
Katterheinrich, EdD, MSN, APRN, is a lifelong Ohio resident. She spent more than 25 years as a registered nurse and was an associate professor of nursing for Ball State University and Indiana-Purdue Ft. Wayne University Schools.
She graduated with her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2015. Since then, she has dedicated her career to caring for those in her community.
She also is excited to join Mary Rutan Pediatrics, where she will provide comprehensive pediatric primary care to infants, children and teenagers.
Dr. Alhaj and Katterheinrich will see patients at the state-of-the-art Goble Center for Women and Children, located at 118 Dowell Ave., Bellefontaine.
