Mary Elizabeth Weber, 89, of DeGraff, went home to meet her Lord and Savior at 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024. She was born in DeGraff, Ohio on March 13, 1935, to the late Gregory W. and Laura Anna (Foughty) Cox.
On September 6, 1958, she married the love of her life, Ralph Edward Weber, and he preceded her in death on March 5, 1998. Mary was also preceded in death by 12 of her 14 siblings, Jim, Walter, Laura Mae, Wilson, Carlyle, Delmar, Alfred, Lena, Herb, Naomi, Velda and Earl; her beloved grandson, Bryant Cole Newman; loyal son-in law, Greg Barton; grandson, Reese; and great-granddaughter, Iris.
She is survived by her sisters, Phyllis Ann and Betty Jane.
She is also survived by her daughters, Robin Barton, Pamela “Pam” Robson, Betsy (Patrick) Price, and Linda Pitchford; sons, Carl “Buzz” (Isabell) Weber, Douglas “Doug” Weber, and Jeffrey “Jeff” Weber; grandchildren, Bianca Dinovo, Justin (Alicia) Dinovo, Erin Mihoci, Heather (Paul) Lindquist. Ryan Weber, Kyle Weber, Victoria (Tori) Weber, Jordan (Greg) Bright, Camron Bensman, Hunter Lee, Marley Myers, Dakota Price, Skyler Price; great grandchildren, Huss, Keaton, Mayah, Oliver (Oli), Genevieve, Anne Marie, Penelope, Eleni, Harmony, Ellie, Tate, Bennett, Cora, Lincoln, Eleanor (Nellie), Kaiden; honorary son, David Lyons.
Mary was a 1953 graduate of Bellefontaine High School. She spent most of her years as a homemaker devoting her time to her husband, children, family, her church and God. She loved to garden, sew, play cards with her siblings and their significant other, and engage in conversation with anyone willing to talk (or listen), She will truly be missed by those who knew and loved her.
Mary was a long-standing member of the First Friends Church, where she tended nursery, taught Sunday school and engaged in any and every effort in her years to support many committees.
Pastor Matthew Sandlin will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the First Friends Church, 808 W. Columbus Avenue, Bellefontaine. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow the funeral at Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty.
