Mary Ann Williams, 83, of Bellefontaine passed away peacefully Monday, December 18, 2023, at Logan Acres Senior Community, shortly after seeing all of her loving family members.
Mary Ann was born May 31, 1940 in Richmond, IN, to the late Russell W. and Elizabeth (Lawler) Taylor.
Mary Ann was a hard working woman, working various jobs to make sure her family was provided for. She enjoyed cooking and playing bingo. Mary Ann was a gardening enthusiast. Her garden was like her extended family. She truly cared for her garden and the hard work she put into it showed. Mary Ann loved spending time with her family. She was considered the “neighborhood mother”, caring for all of her sons’ friends and other kids that would come visit. Mary Ann was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be truly missed by all who had the privilege to get to know her and her family.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald E. (Sarah) Williams, Jim D. Williams, Tom E. Williams, David W. (DeDe) Williams and Lorin G. (Mary) Williams; 18 grandchildren; many loving great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Thomas Taylor and Catherine Furby.
A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, December 30, from noon to 2 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home. A private family burial will take place at a later date in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
