Mark Neer, 60, of West Liberty, passed away with family by his side on Wednesday, July 9.
Mark was born June 30, 1965, in Springfield to the late Leslie and Barbara Neer (Cubbage).
He married his cherished wife Shanna McClain on December 22, 1990, and she survives. Mark is also survived by his children, Samantha Neer (Brandon Stockton), Tyson (Brice) Neer and Sasha Neer (Justin Leiter); 13 grandchildren; sister Dilys Coil and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law D. Janie McClain; 3 brothers Gary, Mike and Norman; niece Ashley and nephew Mikie.
Mark graduated from Benjamin Logan/JVS in 1982. He enjoyed his time with his FFA group and spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid Mark Martin fan, loved watching football and rooting on the Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. He enjoyed spending weekends camping with his family and WWE wrestling. He never minded having a couple cold ones with his family and friends.
A celebration of his life will be July 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory, 5591 U.S. Highway 68 S., West Liberty, OH 43357.
