Marilyn S. Frost passed away peacefully in Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of 85. She was preceded in death by her husband John “Jack” Frost, loving parents, Joe and Marietta Galluzzo, and sister Brenda Blair.
Marilyn was the oldest of five children, Brenda (Paul) Blair, Linda Brugler, Joe (Linda) Galluzzo, and Kathy (Henry) Leveque. Marilyn and Jack had four children, Jeff (Hope) Frost, Chuck (Michele) Frost, Jerry (Annette) Frost and Michelle (Sean) Brown. Marilyn was blessed with 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grand-children and one great-great-grandchild as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Marilyn graduated from Bellefontaine High School. There she met the love of her life, Jack Frost. They married in 1956 and moved to Lima, Ohio where they raised their four children in the St. Charles Catholic community. Marilyn was a stay at home mom with an entrepreneurial spirit having started several small businesses. They ultimately retired in Boca Raton, Florida. She was active in the Elks and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Boca Raton and she served as a Eucharistic Minister. After Jack’s death, Marilyn moved back to Ohio to be closer to Family.
Marilyn will be remembered for her creativity over the years. From ceramics, floral arrangements, cross stitch, embroidery, to crocheting and knitting the most beautiful sweaters and afghans.
Funeral Mass will be Saturday, May 13, at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent Ferrer, 7754 Montgomery Road., Cincinnati, OH 45236. Family will greet friends and family from 9 to 10 a.m. before the service.
