Jarrod Stratmoen, 20, of Miamisburg, was cited for speed and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop executed around 3 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, by deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office in the area of U.S. Route 33 near County Road 10.

Deputies on patrol observed a vehicle driven by the defendant traveling at excessive speed westbound along U.S. 33.

Radar clocked the speed at 89 mph and a traffic stop was initiated.

Stratmoen reportedly acknowledged his speed and deputies observed a glass pipe with burnt marijuana residue in plain view. Stratmoen was informed he was underage to possess tobacco and marijuana products and a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted at that time.

Four tobacco vapes were confiscated from the vehicle, along with leaf marijuana and another vape cartridge.

He was issued the summons and released from the scene.
