The Special Response Team is tasked with serving high risk search warrants, barricades and hostage rescue operations. Lt. Marlow has served as a member of the team for 18 years and has been a part of dozens of successful missions. “Scott spent the last seven years as the team’s commander. Scott is ultimately responsible for outfitting the team with necessary gear and equipment to safely and successfully complete missions. Scott also played a vital role in securing the team’s first armored vehicle. Scott will be missed and should be commended for his 18 years of selfless service,” BPD officials said.
