Devon Miller, 24, at-large, was arrested around 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 4, by officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department following reports of him loitering and behaving strangely at the Hi-Point Eagles, 213 W. Chillicothe Ave.

Officers were dispatched to that location on a report of male loitering and behaving erratically and refusing to leave the property.

When officers arrived, Miller reportedly cursed at them and displayed signs of alcohol impairment, including a strong odor of alcohol and bloodshot, glassy eyes. He then attempted to lunge at a female officer and grab her before being secured and arrested.

Witnesses in the parking lot told police that Miller had been asked at least four times to leave the property that day. Staff had previously banned him from returning due to complaints that he rummaged through ashtrays for cigarette butts and startled female employees. Miller also was observed drinking a 24-ounce beer on the premises, with an empty can found on the top step.

Miller was charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct and was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
