The Logan County Land Trust hosts an Evening of Nature and Conservation with Judy Semroc from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, at the Kirkmont Center Goodrich Lodge.
Semroc formerly worked in the Natural Areas Division of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History as a conservation specialist for more than 20 years.
A light meal will be served.

The presenter is also the founder of “Chrysalis in Time,” the first Ohio chapter of the North American Butterfly Association (NABA).
Semroc serves on the board of the Ohio Bluebird Society and the Ohio Ornithological Society. She co-authored two natural history guides, “Dragonflies & Damselflies of Northeast Ohio” and “Goldenrods of Northeast Ohio: A Field Guide to Identification.”
As a former petroleum geologist and science teacher, Semroc loves to learn about and share her passion for the natural world through hikes, interpretive programs and photography.
Participants will learn more about Judy’s latest adventures and offerings through her new company, Nature Spark!
A certificate for two contact hours will be provided to teachers who pre-register for this event.
