Logan County Education Foundation announces new scholarships for 2025

The Logan County Education Foundation announced this week a number of new scholarships that are available to local high school seniors.
Logan County high school seniors are fortunate to live in a community that values education and is willing to invest in their future,” LCEF Executive Director Lois Stoll said. 
The new scholarships include the following:

BHS Class of 1975 – $500, must be a Bellefontaine HS senior, 2.5 GPA, attending an accredited training, technical school, or 2- or 4-year institution.  

Connie Barr/Tony Agner Nursing Scholarship – $1,000, 2.5 GPA, good character, financial need, must be pursuing a degree in a nursing related field. 

Logan County Education Foundation Scholarship – One $2,000 for each school: Bellefontaine, Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake, Riverside – 3.5GPA, 2- or 4-year college or university, successfully passed at least two AP or College Prep courses in high school.  

Riverside Scholarship – $5,000, must be graduating from Riverside, 2.5 GPA, preference given to Christian applicants, financial need. 

Dwight & Jane Reed Family Scholarship – Five $2,000 scholarships for Indian Lake seniors, 3.0 GPA, preference given to those entering the field of education and/or trade related degrees2- or 4-year institution, financial need. 

Robert E. Smith Memorial Scholarship – $500, graduating from Indian Lake, pursuing a degree in a four-year school to study agriculture.  

Jerry Ritter Family Scholarship – $1,000, graduating from Bellefontaine HS, pursuing a degree in Business, 3.0 GPA, 2- or 4-year college or university.
