Linda K. Myers, 79, of Russells Point, OH, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, OH.
Linda was born on February 5, 1944, in Bellefontaine, OH, a daughter of the late Morris and Phyllis (Leister) Shields. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Marilyn Ambos, and Suzanne Irene Shields.
Linda is survived by two daughters, Beth Myers (Matthew) Haley of Forest, OH, and Cindy Myers (Jeff) Leydig of Botkins, OH, six grandchildren, Grant Helman, Brandy Sealscott, Brooke Sealscott, Blaine O’Leary, Hope Craft, and Mason Williams, five great grandchildren, and a sister, Norma Jones.
Linda was a 1962 graduate of Huntsville School. She was an incredibly hard worker, who worked at Airstream in Jackson Center, and then Honda of America for 18 years before retiring in 2009. Linda enjoyed her retirement spending time with family and friends. She was an avid motorcyclist living her best life. She was a member Doyle R. Miller Amvets Post #39 Auxiliary. She loved playing darts with her fellow Amvet members and supporting our veteran heroes. Linda also spent a lot of time making leather works and jewelry.
A memorial ride and celebration of Linda’s life will be at a later date.
