Linda Cole, age 69, of Russells Point, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at her home. On May 17, 1955, she was born in Marion to the late Darrell Holt, Sr., and Elizabeth Joann (White) Holt, and on December 12, 1995, she married the love of her life, Norman “Fritz” Cole.
Linda was a true homemaker, dedicating her life to taking care of her family. She was the most caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband Fritz Cole; her daughters Jackie (Christopher) Mitchell, Jamie (Brian) Riffe, and Jennifer (Don) Cole Collins; her brother Tim Holt; her sister Maggie Holt; her grandchildren Zackery McAvoy, Elizabeth Conkins, Abigal Jordan, Miriam Mauldin, Hannah Riffe, Holden Davis, Connor Collins, Jordan Bondurant, Kyan Bondurant, and Aydan Bondurant; her great-grandchildren James McAvoy and Elowyn “L” Conkins; and her special friend Sharon Winegarner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Sarah Cole, her brother Darrell Holt, Jr., and her sister Janice Holt.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 15, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Boyd Funeral Home. Services will take place at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
