A DeGraff woman* was killed in a three-vehicle accident on U.S. Route 33 near State Route 739 in Union County Wednesday morning, troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Jessie Holladay, 38, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
She reportedly was operating an eastbound 2006 Buick Lucerne shortly before 6 a.m. when she lost control of her vehicle and traveled across the grass median.
Holladay’s vehicle entered the westbound lanes of U.S. 33 and was struck by a 2013 Ford Flex, operated by Thomas Woodson IV, 26, of Marysville, and a 2015 Chevy Silverado, operated by Joseph Poling, 21, of Marysville.
Troopers said Woodson was transported to Memorial Hospital in Marysville by Allen Township EMS with non-life-threatening injuries.
Poling was not transported and did not report any injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Union County Sheriff’s Office, the Ohio Department of Transportation, Allen Township Fire and EMS, the Union County Coroner’s Office, American Towing, 24/7 Towing, and Kirby’s Towing.
