Indian Lake bounced back from Monday’s 3-2 loss to rival Benjamin Logan by breezing past the visiting Raiders 10-0 in six innings in a Central Buckeye Conference baseball game Wednesday.
The Lakers currently sit in sole possession of first place in the CBC Mad River division standings at 9-3. They are 12-5 overall.
Ben Logan drops to 6-10, 4-8.
The Lakers took a 1-0 lead in the second inning and scored four times in the the third to make it 5-0.
Indian Lake plated one run in the fifth for a 6-0 lead. The Lakers put the game away with a four-run sixth frame.
Burke Lillard tossed the shutout on the mound for the Lakers. He allowed just three hits, struck out nine and did not walk a batter.
Dawson Finfrock went 2-3 with two RBI and Maddux Hall was 2-3 with two RBI to lead the Lakers at the plate.
Collin Powell had a pair of hits for the Raiders.
Indian Lake plays at St. Marys today and Ben Logan is back in action Friday at home against Jonathan Alder.

Bellefontaine zaps Red Raiders
Bellefontaine completed a series sweep of London on Wednesday as the Chiefs beat the host Red Raiders 7-2 in a Central Buckeye Conference baseball game.
The Chiefs improve to 7-8 overall and 4-7 in the CBC. London falls to 5-14, 4-8.
London led 1-0 after the first inning. The Chiefs scored twice in the top of the third to jump ahead 3-1.
The Red Raiders scored once in the bottom of the third to make it 3-2.
Bellefontaine then added two runs in the fourth, one in the fifth, one in the sixth and one in the seventh to pull away.
Kaden Reames was the winning pitcher. He scattered seven hits, struck out five and did not walk a batter.
Offensively for the Chiefs, Lane Reeves was 2-4 to lead the way.
Bellefontaine will host North Union today.

Tigers derail Emmanuel
West Liberty-Salem’s baseball team roughed up visiting Emmanuel Academy 12-2 in five innings in a non-league contest Wednesday.
The Tigers are now 8-5 on the season.
It was a close game through three innings as the Tigers held a slim 3-2 advantage.
However, that changed in the fourth inning as WL-S piled up nine runs to take a commanding 12-2 advantage.
Peyton Hull earned the win on the mound for the Tigers. He allowed five hits and two runs while striking out two in four innings of work.
Offensively for WL-S, Austin Olejniczak led the way by going 3-4 with an RBI. Jayden Temple had a triple and three RBIk, Isaac Sertell had two RBI and Sam Lauck and Jeremiah Johnson each chipped in with two hits for the Tigers.
The Tigers are back in action Friday at West Jefferson.
