Lady Raiders roll past Northwestern; Boys fall in tight CBC match

On the girls side, the Lady Raiders picked up an impressive road victory, defeating Northwestern 2,091–1,936. Aubrey Zedlitz led the way with games of 161 and 233 for a 394 series. Kaydon Wilber turned in a standout effort with games of 149 and a career-high 191 for a 340 series, while Rylee Davis added a solid 160 game to help secure the win.

In boys varsity action, the Raiders dropped a tightly contested match to the Warriors, 2,722–2,678, falling just 44 pins short. Dylan Stewart paced the Raiders with games of 237 and 206 for a 443 series. Jace Lyons followed with games of 222 and 199 for a personal-best 421 series. Conner Chambers rolled games of 193 and 184 for a 377 series, Colton Klopfenstein posted games of 126 and 185 for a 311 series, and Pierce Jenkins contributed a 168 game. Despite the narrow loss, the Raiders swept all four Baker games against Northwestern. The varsity boys’ CBC record now stands at 2–5.

In boys JV action, Benjamin Logan suffered a 2,268–2,239 loss in another close match. Kaden Stevens led the way with games of 172 and 182 for a 354 series. Colt Brugler added a 332 series with games of 179 and 153, while Joe Meeker rolled games of 149 and 171 for a 320 series. Paxton Henry finished with a 318 series on games of 182 and 136, and Brycen Chrencik and Taydin Miller chipped in games of 141 and 134, respectively. The JV Raiders split the Baker games and now stand at 5–2 on the season.

Both the varsity and JV teams return to action Tuesday, Dec. 23, when they host the London Red Raiders at home. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
