Karyn “Kay” Mosher, 84, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 2, 2025, at her residence in Kenton. She was born on April 23, 1941, in Kenton to the late Kenneth and Clara Belle (Rose) Williams. She married Jack Lawarre and they later divorced, she then married Gordon Lee Mosher who preceded her in death.

Surviving are her 3 children, Sonja (Randy) Wolford of McGuffey, Angela Lawarre of Kenton, Greg Lawarre of Kenton, siblings, Joella Wolf of Belle Center, Ladonna Lehman of Lima, 4 grandchildren, Danielle Lawarre, Heath Bolen, Corey Wolford, Mikaya Wolford, 6 great-grandchildren, Malia and Kaze Fowler, Raylee Lawarre, Alexa, Colton and Paisley Bolen, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Jackson, and brothers, Lester Williams, Lewis Williams and Leon Williams.

Kay loved to be outside taking care of her flowers and plants. She also enjoyed woodworking, crafting and coloring. Most of all, Kay loved to spend time with her family and watch her grandchildren play.

There will be no services for Kay. It was her wish to be cremated. The family will hold a memorial at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Memorial donations in Kay’s honor may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to Ohio Health Hospice.
