Bellefontaine Municipal Court Judge Ann E. Beck was elected to a new three-year term as a trustee of the Association of Municipal/County Court Judges of Ohio on Jan. 24 while attending the three-day Winter Conference in Dublin, Ohio.
Judge Beck previously served in this role by fulfilling the unexpired term of Judge Denise Moody of the Clark County Municipal Court.
The association was established to promote the education of its members and the general public on the role of, and need for, an effective and independent judicial system in a free society.
It also promotes the interchange of ideas and experience among the very varied court systems in Ohio.
Judge Beck serves on the Committee for Single Judge Courts, as well as the Committee on Criminal Law and Procedure and the Highway and Traffic Committee.
