Officers and deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded the JCPenney, 1710 S. Main St., after alarms sounded around 2:50 a.m. Saturday.
Upon arrival, they found the front glass doors shattered but sweeps of the building did not locate any suspects. Two jewelry counters in the center of the building were found busted open. One was emptied of its contents while some items were removed from the other, police report.
