Jeffrey Mills, 72 of De Graff passed away Friday, November 29, 2024 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus surrounded by his close family.

Jeff was born December 12, 1951, in Akron, OH to the late Walter Henry and Vivian Jean (Byers) Mills. On November 25, 2016, in Galion, OH he married Gregory M. Seyer, who survives.

Jeff was a computer programmer and operated a very successful business. He worked on the west coast for years programming the telephone lines. Jeff was a very educated man who loved to read. He had a lovely voice and liked to sing karaoke with family and friends. Jeff enjoyed traveling across the US in his RV, entertaining his friends and family, crocheting and making things for people. His favorite place to visit in the US while traveling was Devils Tower. He also enjoyed Broadway shows, listening to music and sitting on the back patio looking at the variety of birds that he liked to feed and take pictures of. 

He was a dedicated and a top member in the light -o-Roma group for Christmas lights and he loved putting on a great display for the community. Jeff fell in love with body art (tattoo) at the age of 70 and had many art pieces completed over the years. He was an avid gardener and loved his beautiful gardens so much. Jeff was very big into ancestry and was an advocate for the ancestry community. Jeff loved watching cheesy sci-fi shows and American Idol. His favorite show was Oak Island, and his favorite movie was Twister. 

Jeff was a very supportive, giving, loving husband who was a very social, lovable, big-hearted man; he loved others and was full of life. He will be missed by all who had the privilege to get to know him.

Jeff is survived by his loving husband of 8 years and loving companion of 18 years, Gregory Seyer; sister, Dana (Mike) Easterling, adopted sister, Stacy Mills; mother-in-law, Deb (Doyle) Gross; brothers-in-law, Jim Seyer, Nathan Baxter, Terry Gross II; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of life will take place Thursday, December 12, at 6 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will take place from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.
