Jeannette Kay Hostetler, 82, of West Liberty passed away Friday, April 14, 2023, at the OSU Medical Center – Hospice Unit in Columbus.
Jeannette was born November 17, 1940, in Elkhart, IN, to the late Russell B. and Ellen Berlene (Christophel) Eby. On January 16, 1965 in Elkhart, IN, she married the love of her life James R. Hostetler, who preceded her in death in 2021.
Jeannette was a member of the South Union Mennonite Church. She was active in a community Bible Study & prayer group. Jeannette was also a member of the West Liberty Tourist Club. She worked in the lab at Oak Hill Medical in West Liberty, OH for many years. Jeannette enjoyed baking, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends, all of which brought her joy! She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Jeannette will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her sons Greg (Joanna) Hostetler and Mark Hostetler; grandchildren Lindsay (Dan) Pozniak and Hayden Hostetler; brother, Clare Eby.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, James R. Hostetler
Graveside services will be Friday, April 21, at 11 a.m. in Fairview Cemetery of West Liberty, with Pastor Matthew Williams officiating.
