Jarrod Joe Taylor, 37, of Nelsonville, OH, formerly of Lakeview, OH passed away June 1, 2024.
Jarrod was born on December 4, 1986, in Bellefontaine, OH, son of Rodney J. Taylor of Lakeview, and the late Penny M. Carter.
Jarrod is survived by his father, Rodney, two children, Hunter and Ambriel, three siblings, Jake (Melissa) Butterfield of Lakeview, Jillian (Lucas) Chamberlin of Huntsville, OH, and Joy Shoemaker of Urbana, OH, ten nieces and nephews, and six great nieces and nephews.
Jarrod was a 2005 graduate of Nelsonville-York High School. He was a carpenter by trade. Jarrod loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and playing sports.
Gino Magnan will begin a memorial service at 1 p.m., Saturday, October 5, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St, Lakeview with visiting one hour prior to services. A celebration of Jarrod’s life will follow at Indian Lake Eagles Annex.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to his family c/o Shoffstall Funeral Home.
