James R. Skeen, 79, of Huntsville, OH, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, at his home.
James was born on June 14, 1945, in Bellefontaine, OH, a son of the late Russell and Helen (Kirkpatrick) Skeen. He is also preceded in death by a son, Corey, a brother, Robert, and a sister, Peggy LeFever.
On June 24, 1965, he married Karen Carter, and she survives. He is also survived by their daughter, Kelley (Larry) Crapnell, two grandchildren, DJ (Shannon) Foy, and Kayla (Nate) Stratton, four great grandchildren, Avery and Callum Foy, and Dominic and Hadleigh Stratton, a sister, Judy Patton, and several nieces and nephews.
Per Jim’s request, a private family graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in Harrod Cemetery, Huntsville, OH.
