Jack M. Hadley, Sr., age 84 of Lima, Ohio, passed on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at St. Rita’s Medical Center. He was born on September 28, 1940, to the late Vance and Virginia (Norvel) Hadley.

He was a graduate of Bellefontaine High School and attended Ohio University and Ohio State. Jack owned and operated Hadley Studios for many years in Bellefontaine. He could always get that smile and was the past president of the Professional Photographers of Ohio. He was also a former member of the Eagles and Elks Lodge.

Jack loved traveling all over to catch fish and was feared by all bass. He enjoyed hunting, euchre and all the professional wrestling he could watch. Jack had renowned bowling skills. He was not just a bowling legend in his own mind; he had too many legitimate 300 games to count.

Survivors include his fiancé his partner in crime Jean Alguire of Lima; four children – Kyp (John) Donahue of Springfield, Michael (Mary) Hadley of Traverse City, Michigan, Jack (Ellen) Hadley of Athens and Elizabeth Schenk of Cincinnati; 2 step-children – Wendy Alguire of Lima and Chris (Liz) Alguire of Columbus; grandchildren – Robyn, Shem, Duncan, Megen, Ryan, Connor, Callum and Jeremy; step-grandchildren – Ashley, Sydney, Grace and Christen; eight great grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; sister – LeAnn ‘Nan’ Hadley of Columbus; formally married to Kathi Hadley and Harriet Reddick (d) and all the extended family; Beth Mavis.

Jack knew no stranger, and he was the walking definition of google before there was a google.

A celebration of Jack’s life will be conducted at a later date.
