“Amanda Garber came into this program determined to graduate,” Judge Braig said. “Her commitment was impressive and inspiring to the other participants. When the county commissioners asked us to send a representative of ARC to a summit held by the One Ohio Recovery Foundation, Amanda was the obvious choice. She represented all the participants and team members at the meeting. We are all very proud of her.”

“I cannot think of a friendlier participant in ARC than Nick Wisse,” Judge Braig continued. “He almost always had a smile on his face. He also encouraged us to go a Monster Energy AMA Supercross event in Indianapolis. We went and it was super fun. Nick loves his motorcycle and supercross. I will never forget him sharing that love with all of us.”

The ARC treatment team works within the framework of the traditional Logan County Common Pleas Court.

The ARC’s mission is to achieve specific, rehabilitative objectives. The objectives of the ARC are to monitor treatment for substance abuse disorder of ARC participants, encourage and incentivize ARC participants to achieve rehabilitation and personal accountability, and decrease criminal activity and the need for incarceration.

The ARC provides its participants with the support of Judge Braig, Treatment Coordinator and Program Manager Annette Deao and her deputy Lauren Ater, Compliance Officers Jim Pleasant and his deputies Mandy Wilber and Gary Ledford, and treatment providers from TCN Behavioral Health Services, Community Health Wellness, the Justice Reinvestment Grant, Logan County Assistant Prosecutor Erin Rosen, local attorneys Natalie Bahan and Greg Harvey, and others.

The members of the ARC Team share the  goals of: empowering ARC participants through treatment, accountability, and responsibility, assisting ARC participants in achieving recovery from substance abuse disorder and helping ARC participants lead useful and productive lives.
