West Liberty-Salem dominated host Mechanicsburg 54-30 in an Ohio Heritage Conference boys basketball game Tuesday night.
The win improves the Tigers to 10-9 overall and 8-6 in the OHC. The Indians drop to 0-19, 0-14.
The Tigers put the game away early. They led 26-7 at halftime and maintained a 19-point cushion (42-23) after three quarters.
Taran Logwood paced the Tigers with 17 points. Brevin Louden also scored in double figures with 10 points, Carson Poppe had nine points and Miles Hostetler added seven points.
In the junior varsity game, WL-S won 50-36. J.J. Johnson led the Tigers with 13 points and Cade Stokes and Garrett Wallen each had seven points.
The Tigers’ freshman team won 39-7. Garrett Wallen led the Tigers with 10 points and Dylan King and Johnson each scored seven points for WL-S.
The Tigers return to action Friday at Triad.
