Indian Lake boys open golf season with win over W-Goshen
Indian Lake’s boys golf team opened the season with a 187-205 victory over Waynesfield-
Goshen at Prairie View Golf Club on Thursday, Aug. 1.
Kahne Ferguson and Jaxon Snipes each shot 43 to lead the Lakers.
Indian Lake is back in action Monday at Urbana.
Pirates fall to Fairlawn in opener
Riverside’s boys golf team was defeated by Fairlawn 218-237 in the season opener Thursday at Shelby Oaks Golf Course.
The Pirates’ Jaxon Woods was the medalist with a round of 38.
Hayden McCully had a 56 for RHS, while Daniel Esh shot 63 and Syler Clark had 80.
Garrett Maddy led the Jets with a 46. Maddox Abke had a 47, Kavin Wiley had 55 and Thomas Hammond shot 70.
