Indian Lake boys, Ben Logan girls win in tri-meet with Urbana

Indian Lake hosted a tri-meet on Monday with Benjamin Logan and Urbana.

The boys team scores were Indian Lake 73, Ben Logan 72 and Urbana 27.

For the girls, Ben Logan was first with 72 1/2 points, Urbana had 48 and Indian Lake got 47 1/2.

GIRLS

For Ben Logan, Kate Gulick won the 300m hurdles with a time of 53.59 seconds.

The combo of Mercedes Marcinko, Aleah France, Leah Braddock and Ella Stoodt won the 4×100 in 56.05.

The team of Autumn Cline, Lahna Cook, Kaylee Hays and Kyla Goodwin took fourth.

Winning the 4×800 in 12:10 were Gwendolyn Smith, Mollie Siefring, Lottie Bodin and Lucy Johns.

Marcinko, Braddock, Montana Coleman and Nahla Payne were third in the 4×200. In the 4×400, Lexi Archer, Gulick, Abby Vance, and Nora Eliott were second, with Estella Wenger, Lauren Kennedy, Lucy Johns and Peyton Smith fourth.

Vance had the top finish in the long jump at 15 feet, 9 1/2 inches.

Others earning points in field events were Addison Anderson and Madi Oakes with third and fourth in high jump; Penelope Elliott, second in the pole vault; Storm LeVan, fourth in long jump; Cline, tied for third in shot put; and Godwin, Hays and Cline claiming second, third and fourth in the discus.

On the track, Vance was second and Nahla Payne in the 100 dash. Scarlett Eliott was second and Vance third in the 200. Nora Elliott was fourth in the 400. In the 800, Peyton Smith was second and Gwendolyn Smith was third. Wenger was third in the 1600. Ella Stoodt was second and Archer third in the 100 hurdles, and Archer was third and Stoodt fourth in the 300 hurdles.

Event winners for Indian Lake were Addison Beck in the 100m dash (13.38) and 200m dash (27.50), Reagan Rash in the 1600 (5:50.05), Ava Faler in the high jump (4-10), and Maddie Miller in the discus (103-11).

Others scoring points for the Lakers with top four finishes were Cameron Finfrock with third in the 400 dash, Alicia Brielmaier, second in the 1600 run, Haley Metzger, fourth in the 1600, Mara Bihn, fourth in the 100m hurdles.

The 4×100 of Maddie Leiss-Breakey, Karsyn Newkirk, Hailey Prater and Piper Warnecke was third. In the 4×200, Warnecke, Leiss-Breakey, Finfrock and Prater were second. The team of Myiah Ankrom, Finfrock, Brielmaier and Rash were third in the 4×400. 

In field events, Beck was second in the high jump and long jump, Faler was third in the pole vault, Autumn Cline was tied for third in the shot put.

BOYS

Indian Lake event winners were Quest Clay in the 100m dash (11.78), Bryan Mohler in the 400 dash (54.60), Gavin Henry in the 110 hurdles (15.96) and Noah Shirk in the 300 hurdles (45.42).

Winning relay events were the 4×100 team of Henry, Clay, Drake Cosby, and Shirk won in 45.65, and the 4×400 of Jacob Freyhof, Mohler, Cosby and Shirk with a time of 3:41.

Silas Holbrook was fourth in the 100 dash. In the 200, Jacob Freyhof, Holbrook and Cameron Freyhof were second through fourth. Aidan Stinebaugh was fourth in the 400. Carson Clary was second and Will Faler fourth in the 800. Titus Kelly was third in the 1600. 

Henry was second in the 300 hurdles and Jordan Henderson fourth. Shirk came in third in the 110 hurdles. 

The 4×200 of Kade Richardson, Everett Wischmeyer, Henry and Jacob Freyhof were second.

In the field events, Will Faler took first in the pole vault at 9-6, and Christopher Timms won the shot put (47-10 1/2).

Clay was second and Weston Campbell third in the high jump. Hayes Henry was fourth in the pole vault. Wyatt Whitsett was second in the long jump. Franklin Kinney was fourth in the discus.

For Ben Logan, Dylan Vance won the 200 (24.18), Tyler Shoopman took first in the 800 (2:07), Eric Hughes was first in the 1600 (4:59.70) and the Raiders won the 4×800 in 9:27.60.

Collin Powell was second and Dylan Vance third in the 100, Gavin Jordan was third in the 800, Landon Zehner took fourth in the 1600, In hurdles, Cooper Buck was second in the 110, and Jerrik Stephens was fourth in the 110 and third in the 300.

In the 4×100 relay, Powell, Wyatt Predmore, Alex Hassel, and Everett Clapsaddle were second. Cooper Buck, Hassel, Stephens, and Maxwell Troth were second in the 4×400. 

Roman Maxwell was first in the high jump (5-4), and Powell won the long jump at 17 feet, 11 1/2 inches, 

Talon Archer was fourth in high jump, Bradyn White and Elliot Carpenter second and third in the pole vault, Maxwell third and Archer fourth in the long jump, Gus Bibart was second and Jaxon Bowman third in shot put, and Bibart was second in discus.
