Two Indian Lake High School students recently represented their chapter at the Business Professionals of America National Leadership Convention in California. Senior Paige Mefford, left, and junior Hannah Metzger qualified for the national event by earning top scores at the State PBA Convention in March. Mefford ended up 38th in the country in Fundamental Word Processing. She also passed a Certiport MOS PowerPoint certification test. Metzger placed 16th in Business Law & Ethics. The two pupils also got to see many attractions in Anaheim, Calif., where the BPA Conference was hosted. They toured Universal Studios, learned to surf, spent time at the beach and more. They were accompanied by ILHS BPA adviser and ILHS/OHP business teacher Lisa Coburn. (Indian Lake Schools Photo)
