Indian Lake High School is dedicating its fall blood drive to the memory of classmates Chloe Hodge and Nolan Purk and is welcoming community members to donate Friday, Nov. 1, from 8 a.m. to noon in the auxiliary gym, 6210 State Route 235, Lewistown.

The Indian Lake High School blood drives are sponsored by Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD). The blood drive is dedicated to Chloe Hodge and Nolan Purk, who were both 17-year-old juniors at Indian Lake when killed in separate car accidents less than two months apart.

Nolan died in a single-vehicle crash Dec. 1, 2023, and Chloe died in a collision with another vehicle on Jan. 25, 2024.

Everyone who registers to donate will receive the “Fight Cancer” t-shirt or the “All You Need is Love to Give Blood” high school T-shirt.
