A Chicago woman was cited for failure to control after sliding off the road and striking a guardrail Saturday afternoon on U.S. Route 33.
Shriya Chennuru, 25, was traveling westbound around 3 p.m. on U.S. 33 just west of the U.S. Route 68 exit in Lake Township when her vehicle lost control on icy roads, deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report. Her 2022 Subaru Outback veered off the roadway and collided with a guardrail.
Chennuru was not injured. She was cited for failure to control. Damage to her vehicle was disabling.
