Helen “Holly” Elizabeth Norton of Twinsburg, OH passed peacefully on June 16, 2024. 

Born April 8, 1936, in Urbana, OH, she grew up in Bellefontaine, OH, her parents were Frances Jane (Sheets) and Jay Lester Norton. She graduated from Bellefontaine High School in 1954. After high school graduation, she married Joseph Kuldau of Sandusky, OH. 

During their 20-year marriage they collaborated to create a successful magic act known as “Mr. Kaye and Holly” which she both managed and performed in. She earned a BS degree in Biology and MS in Educational Media from Wright State University, and a MS in Library Science from Case Western University. 

She worked in the Kettering School District teaching junior high school biology and chemistry and as a librarian. During this time, she met her long-term partner Bob Haber with whom she shared 38 happy years until his death in 2015. 

She was also predeceased by her parents, former husband Joseph Kuldau and his brother John Kuldau, Bob’s sister Bernice and brother Howard. 

She is survived by Bob’s brother Harry Haber, niece Gretchen Kuldau and nephews Michael, Jeffrey, and Richard Resnick, and Gus Kuldau.

Holly’s life was one of learning, change and self-improvement which was manifested in her curiosity, innovation, and true thirst for knowledge. She was a helper to so many even in the last week of her life. She will be remembered for her kindness and love of life and science. She will be dearly missed.
