The snow held off after all Saturday night, giving revelers a chance to enjoy float watching, carol singing, Santa sighting, candy snatching, and even treat grabbing from a surprisingly generous Grinch. Apparently, the West Liberty annual Christmas parade, on Saturday, Nov. 29, took place after his heart grew three sizes. Many vehicles decked out with Christmas lights made their way through town as well, including a “candy combine.” Afterward, excited children and their parents lined up at the town’s gazebo to share their holiday wish with the big guy himself, Kris Kringle.
