Gregory Allen Norris, 59, of Rushsylvania, passed away peacefully and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on February 4, 1964, a beloved son of G. Bruce and E. Louise (Rich) Norris who survive.

On September 28, 1984, Gregg married the love of his life, Helen Louise (Kerns) Norris in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He is survived by his wife along with their two sons, Jamie (Amanda), and Gary (Sarah); three grandchildren, Addilynn, Greyson, and Griffin; two brothers, Todd, and Steve (Bryn); and many nieces and nephews and loving family members.

Gregg was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish with his boys, and a talented wood worker.  He dedicated his adult life to serving others as a Sergeant in the Ohio Army National Guard, Assistant Fire Chief in Rushcreek Township, member of Bellefontaine Lodge #209 F&AM, Deacon at the Church of Christ in Belle Center, and was currently serving as a Deacon of the Central Church of Christ in Kenton Ohio. Gregg earned an Associates of Business degree from Colorado Technical University and was the owner and operator of Charlie’s Old Fashioned Snacks (a.k.a. Charlie’s Kettle Corn).

Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2023, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 306 N. Elizabeth Street in Belle Center. Pastors Dean Wasson, Jack King, and Kris Langstaff will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 30th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center, Ohio with military honors performed by the Logan County Veteran Honor Guard.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Gregg’s memory, to the Belle Center Church of Christ, 301 Walnut Street, Belle Center, Ohio 43310, or the Central Church of Christ, 815 E. Columbus Street, Kenton, Ohio 43326.
