Washington Township resident Rick Godwin is no stranger to supporting the Washington Township Police Department. Recently, Godwin went the extra mile by donating a custom-made Thin Blue Line police officers prayers’ flag to for the department. The flag has already been displayed police department’s wall, Police Chief Michael Thompson noted.
“Here in Washington Township, we are blessed to have amazing residents who always support us,” Chief Thompson said. “From levies, to cookies to supporting fundraisers for the Washington Township Police Officer’s Association. Our residents, including Rick, always go the extra mile to let us know that we are appreciated and we can’t thank each and every one of them enough.
“I release press releases for arrests that happen in Washington Township. It’s refreshing to release something positive for everyone involved.”
