Gertie Mae Miller, 87, of Huntsville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023, of congestive heart failure. Mom was paralyzed from a spinal tumor since 2016.

She was born in Plain City, Ohio, on December 31, 1935, to Dan and Emma (Frey) Hostetler.

On November 19, 1959, she married Daniel N. Miller. He preceded her in death on January 6, 2019.

She was a member of the Belle Center Amish Church.

She is survived by her 10 children: Steven (Rachel) Miller of LaGrange, Indiana, John Miller of Sarasota, Florida, David Miller of Sarasota, Florida, Joseph (Ann) Miller of Houstonia, Missouri, Mary (John) Hochstetler of Howe, Indiana, Daniel (Ruth) Miller of Belle Center, Ohio, Joanna of the home, James (Janet) Miller of Huntsville, Ohio, Julia of the home, and Lois (James) Byler of Belle Center, Ohio; 22 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister Martha Hostetler of Plain City, Ohio; 2 sisters-in-law: Alice (Sam) Hostetler of Sarasota, Florida, and Erma (Dan) Hostetler of Plain City, Ohio.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Martha; brothers: Lester, John, Eli, Sam, Dan, and William; sisters: Katie Ann Kramer, Verna Gingerich, and Emma Hostetler.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Thursday, October 5, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Miller residence, 3133 Township Road 108, Huntsville, Ohio 43324. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday, October 6, at the Miller residence, with Bishop Marcus Schlabach officiating. Burial will be in Belle Center Amish Cemetery.
