George M. Park Jr., 76, of Urbana and formerly of Bellefontaine, passed away at 4:16 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Springfield Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on March 26, 1947, to the late George M. Sr. and Anna (Beldia) Park.

George is survived by his daughters, Tiffiany (Jason Poe) Park and Tracie (Jim) Eyman; grandchildren, Brooks Swank, Mercedes Jones, Josh Branson, Fran Logwood, and Lexie Eyman; several great grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Taylor; and 3 brothers.

George served many years in the military and after his service, he worked for Bellefontaine City Schools. He didn’t know a stranger, as he was friendly and giving to anyone. George enjoyed giving to others and thought the world of his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed shopping, especially on QVC, and spending quality time with his family.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 1, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 101 Zanesfield Road, West Liberty. Military honors will conclude visitation and be provided by the Logan County Veterans Honor Guard.
