A Logan County jury on Friday, Oct. 4, returned a verdict of guilty against Steven A. Fulmer Jr. on seven counts of rape, felonies of the first degree, and one count of gross sexual imposition, a felony of the third degree.
The jury also found that the Bellefontaine man compelled the three victims to submit by force or threat of force. The jury deliberated for approximately five hours.
Logan County Court of Common Pleas Judge Kevin P. Braig ordered Fulmer’s bail revoked and that he be taken into custody and transported to the Logan County Jail to await sentencing.
Logan County Prosecutor Eric Stewart and Assistant Prosecutor Nathan Yohey represented the State of Ohio. Defense counsel Collin Thomas of Columbus represented Fulmer.
