Fine Arts festivities

The arts were on full display at Bellefontaine High School Wednesday night, May 17, for the annual Bellefontaine City Schools’ Fine Arts Festival. Artwork from students in grades 6-12 filled the atrium near the Distance Learning Center. A robot from the high school engineering class was also doing various tasks. The art educators are Melanie Antram Ingraham, Hannah Rodenhausen, Aaron Gregor, and Lori Lowery. The engineering and visual communications educators are Shawn Miller, Travis Hunsicker, and Aaron Garver. (BCS PHOTO)

Brice Henry directs the middle school choir during the Fine Arts Festival. About 400 middle school and high school students performed, also including the following groups: sixth- and seventh-grade band; sixth- and seventh-grade orchestra; eighth-grade band; BHS orchestra and eighth-grade orchestra; BHS symphonic and concert choirs; BHS symphonic and concert bands. Each group combined to play “Our America” as a finale for the concert. Music educators are Jeremy Karg, Heather Johnson, Brice Henry and Laura Mitchell. Rick Ramsey was the master of ceremonies.
