Female suspect jailed following domestic dispute

BellefontainePolice Patch-200Tabitha Ritter, 31, Bellefontaine, was charged with persistent disorderly conduct, and Kyle Poe, 30, of Bellefontaine, was cited for possession of marijuana after officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department responded around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, to a report of a domestic dispute at the couple’s Bonnie Lane apartment.

When they arrived, Ritter was extremely agitated and yelling at Poe and was argumentative with officers who attempted to calm her down. She was bleeding from a cut on her hand, but refused medical transport to Mary Rutan Hospital.

She was lodged in Logan County Jail for persistent disorderly conduct. Poe was issued the citation for possession of marijuana after officers located an electronic grinder containing the drug as he was gathering his possessions to leave the property.
