Everetta M. Titus of Bellefontaine, passed away at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 19, 2023, at Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine. She was born in Zanesfield, Ohio, on December 20, 1934, the daughter of the late Everett and Cecil (Pash) Van Voorhis.

She is also preceded in death by her husband, Daryl K. Titus, and siblings that included brothers: LeRoy, John, Robert, Jeffrey, Phillip and Karl Van Voorhis, and two sisters, Rosena Wesser and Doris Deal.

She is survived by children: son Doug (Cindy) Titus of West Mansfield, daughter, Susan (Dan) Stanford of Zanesfield, and son Greg Titus of Bellefontaine, five grandchildren: Chad Titus, Stacy (Jon) Bell, DJ (Raven) Weatherby, Cody (Tiara) Titus, and Caleb (Hannah) Titus, three step grandchildren: Amy (Jamie) Block, Scott (Joni) Stanford, Neil (Jenny) Stanford, seven step grandchildren: Jessica (Cole) Perdue, Taylor (Tyler) Davis, Craig, Rachel, Gabriel, Lydia, and Charlie Stanford, five great-great grandchildren: Piersen, Callaghan and Teegan Bell, and Connor and Kole Titus, one step great-great grandchild, Sullivan Davis, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by two brothers: Charles (Annette) Van Voorhis of Marion, Arthur Van Voorhis of Kenton; and three sisters-in-law, Phyllis Titus of Dayton, Cheryl Van Voorhis of Marion, Imogene Van Voorhis of Bellefontaine.

Everetta was a long-time employee of Sanese Services, Inc. at Honda of America in Marysville, and served as a cook at Bellefontaine City Schools. For many years to honor her late husband, she raised money for Relay for Life and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She was a member of First Christian Church, Bellefontaine, where she served in many roles. She is a graduate of Zanesfield-Monroe High School where she was a cheerleader and FFA Queen. She was an award-winning baker, excellent cook, cake decorator, champion bowler, thespian, and artist. She loved to travel, write poetry and play cards. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory, 5591 US-68 S., West Liberty.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A Private Family Committal service will be held at a later date at the Rushsylvania Cemetery.
