Eagles fly past Pirates in TRC contest

Basketball b 300Host Troy Christian started fast and did not let up en route to a 65-32 victory over Riverside in a Three Rivers Conference boys basketball game Tuesday night.

The Pirates are now 5-10 overall and 2-8 in the TRC. The Eagles won their eighth straight game to improve to 13-3, 9-1.

Troy Christian took a 14-6 lead after the first eight minutes and the Eagles led by 21 points (38-17) at halftime.

The second half had a similar outcome as the Eagles continued to add to their lead. The held a 56-25 advantage after three quarters.

Kaleb Schindewolf led the Pirates with 14 points. Ayden Clary added five points.
Kyle Sebor scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Eagles.

Riverside returns to action Friday at Lehman Catholic.
